HP SET Application Form 2024, HP SET Exam Date, Eligibility, Latest Update, By December 2024, the HP SET 2024 Application Form will be made available online. Himachal Pradesh State Eligibility Test is known as HP SET 2024. For the following disciplines, the HPPSC (Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission) publishes the notice for the HP SET (State Eligibility Test). For the position of Assistant Professors Lecturers in the Government, an exam is being held. The SET will decide who is qualified for the position of associate professor (s) at the university or institution in Himachal Pradesh. HP SET Application Form 2024
Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission administers the HP SET 2024, the state-level eligibility and recruitment test, on behalf of the Himachal Pradesh State Government. This test was primarily used to determine candidates’ eligibility for assistant professor lecturerships and lectures in Himachal Pradesh’s universities and degree-granting institutions. The performance of the candidate in the two SET papers taken together will determine their eligibility for the position of assistant professor.
The applicants scoring 55% (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from university/institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and social sciences, computer science & applications, electronic science, etc. are going to be eligible to apply.
Appearing applicants for a Master’s degree can also apply.
These applicants are going to be admitted provisionally and can be treated as eligible for Assistant Professor’s post within the universities/colleges placed within the state.
This will happen solely after passing a Master’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 55% scores (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates).
NET/SLET/SET can remain minimum eligibility criteria for requirement and appointment of assistant professor in universities/colleges/institutions.

How to Fill the online Application of HP SET Notification 2024.
Now Click on the “HP SET 2024”-looking link. The screen will change to a new web page; click the “Apply Online” link.
After clicking the link, you will be sent to a registration page where you can fill out your information, including your name, date of birth, active email address, working cellphone number, and “Password.”
After filling out the registration form and clicking “Register,” your screen will show the message “You have successfully registered for “SET 2024.” Please keep track of your application number and password for future use.
Next, input the application number, password, and security code by clicking “Candidate Login” in the top menu.
If all of the entries are right, a new webpage will open; click the “Fill up of Application” link.
Completely fill out the reservation, personal, and academic information. Click the “Save” button after adding your photo and signature.
This just has to be done once. Click the “Final submission” option if the candidate is confident that all the information is accurate.
The applicant must pay the cost using internet banking by clicking the “Online payment” link, entering their information, and paying the application fee.
Select the “Print your Application” link, fill out the form, and then press the “Submit” button. For future use, the ID number in the PDF application form must be cited.
